Volunteering for us:

If you want to enquire about volunteering opportunities you can find out more information on our volunteer page. If you are a student or counsellor who wants to enquire about a placement with us please use our contact page and we will get in touch with you regarding a placement. Our volunteering is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to work in the caring profession as you will gain first hand experience of working with families in crisis.

How to Refer:

To refer to our service the family will have to either live in Enfield, Haringey or Barnet. We support parents/carers who are being abused by their children and work with the whole family. The children have to be between the ages of 6-18 years. Abuse covers emotional, verbal, physical, psychological and sexual. The abuse has to be outside of what would be seen as normal child behaviour. If you wish to refer a family please contact us and we will send you a referral form. Families can also self-refer. Help raise awareness of Parent Abuse:

Parent Abuse is a mainly hidden form of abuse and as such there is very limited information on the extent of the problem as incidents do not get logged on any health or police database. You can help us raise awareness of this issue by completing our organisation survey. This will help us to highlight the issue so it does not remain hidden which in turn will aid other families in coming forward for support.
