All of us need to bear in mind that we are dealing with young people and they will not think like an adult does that will come with life experience we can guide them and be there when needed but we cannot force a person to change that has to come from within, from self-realisation, this may not come for some time and for some it may never come.

When I speak about young people in the above context I am not counting those who may have mental health issues or have been through a traumatic life experiences such as abuse as these will have other needs which will impact on how they socialise.

At PAARS we want to help families to help themselves we know that you cannot work with only one part of the problem which is why we feel it is vital to work with the whole family, the school, and also to help those who want to improve their prospects through further education and training.
